Discover Alghero and what surrounds it

Alghero All Around is the digital companion for exploring, living and discovering every corner of one of the most fascinating cities in Sardinia. We designed and built it with React Native and Expo, for iPhone and Android.

Whether you are a visitor here for the first time or a resident who wants to know the city better, the app brings together interactive maps, up-to-date information and useful services, all a tap away, in Italian, English, French and Spanish.

What you find in the app

Every point on the map has details, photos, opening times and useful links, to plan the day simply and quickly.

A smart map

Places of interest, restaurants, hotels and B&Bs, beaches and coves: from the medieval towers to the old town.

Local food

The best restaurants, the typical trattorias and the authentic flavours of Alghero cooking.

Beaches and sea

The beaches of the Riviera del Corallo, with their services, accessibility and how to reach them.

Events and culture

Concerts, food festivals and traditional celebrations of the city, always up to date.

Transport

Bus times and stops, taxis and car parks, to get around the city without stress.

Useful services

Bills, reports to the town hall, on-duty pharmacies, public and post offices.

Emergencies

First aid, fire brigade, police, coast guard and helplines always at hand.

Notifications and offline

Alerts for events and offers, and the essential maps and content even without a connection.

Chat with Juàn

Juàn is the app’s artificial intelligence assistant: you write to it as you would to a friend, in Italian, English or other languages, and it answers straight away about anything to do with the city.

  • Tailor-made routes, based on what you like: history, nature or a day at the beach
  • Advice on restaurants and venues, to your taste
  • Events and news for the weekend, kept up to date
  • Hidden coves and trekking paths along the Riviera del Corallo
  • Useful numbers: a taxi, a pharmacy that is open, the contacts of the town hall

You can ask it, for example: “Which are the most beautiful beaches near Alghero?”, “Can you suggest a romantic restaurant with a sea view?” or “How do I get to the Grotta di Nettuno?”
