Sensitive information.

We do not process sensitive information.

All the personal information you give us has to be true, complete and accurate, and you have to tell us about any change to it.

  1. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

In short: we process your information to provide, improve and run our services, to talk to you, for security and for the prevention of fraud, and to comply with the law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for a number of reasons, depending on how you interact with our services, among them:

  • To answer what users ask and to give them support. We may process your information to answer your requests and to sort out any problem you may have with the service you asked for.
  • To ask for feedback. We may process your information when we need to, to ask for feedback and to get in touch with you about how you use our services.
  • To assess and improve our services, our products, our marketing and your experience. We may process your information when we think it is needed to spot trends in how our services are used, to work out how effective our promotional campaigns are and to assess and improve our services, products, marketing and your experience.
  • To meet our legal obligations. We may process your information to meet our legal obligations, to answer legal requests and to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights.
  1. WHEN DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA, AND WITH WHOM?

In short: we may share information in the specific situations described in this section and/or with the following third parties.

We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:

  • Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information as part of, or while negotiating, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or part of our business by another company.
  1. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

In short: we may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. The details of how we use them, and of how you can refuse certain cookies, are in our Cookie Policy.

  1. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In short: we keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless the law says otherwise.

We will keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law (tax, accounting or other legal requirements, for example).

When we have no good business reason to process your personal information, we will delete it or make it anonymous; where that is not possible (because your personal information has been kept in backup archives, for example), we will store it securely and keep it away from any further processing until deleting it is possible.

  1. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In short: we aim to protect your personal information through a set of technical and organisational security measures.

We have put in place suitable, reasonable technical and organisational security measures, designed to protect the safety of all the personal information we process. However, in spite of our safeguards and our efforts to protect your information, no electronic transmission over the internet and no technology for storing information can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to break our security and collect, access, steal or change your information improperly. While we will do our best to protect your personal information, sending personal information to and from our services is at your own risk. You should only use the services in a secure environment.

  1. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In short: you can review, change or close your account at any time.

If you live in the EEA or the United Kingdom and you think we are processing your personal information unlawfully, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. You can find their contact details here: https://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/bodies/authorities/index_en.htm.

If you live in Switzerland, the contact details of the data protection authorities are available here: https://www.edoeb.admin.ch/edoeb/en/home.html.

Withdrawing your consent: if we rely on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express or implied depending on the law that applies, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. You can withdraw it at any time by getting in touch with us using the contact details given in the section ‘HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?’ below.

Bear in mind, though, that this does not affect how lawful the processing was before you withdrew it, nor, where the law allows, the processing of your personal information done on legal grounds other than consent.

Cookies and similar technologies: most web browsers accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually set your browser to remove cookies and to refuse them. If you choose to remove or refuse cookies, some features or services may be affected. To turn off interest-based advertising by advertisers, visit our services http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.

If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you can e-mail us at info@dotlabs.it

  1. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers, and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications, include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can turn on to show your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing tracked and collected. At this stage no single technological standard for recognising and following DNT signals has been settled. So, for now, we do not respond to browser DNT signals or to any other mechanism that automatically tells us you do not want to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we have to follow in future, we will tell you about it in a revised version of this privacy policy.

  1. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In short: yes, if you live in California you are given specific rights about access to your personal information.

Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, lets the users of ours who live in California ask us, once a year and free of charge, for information about the categories of personal information (if any) we have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes, and about the names and addresses of every third party we have shared personal information with in the calendar year before. If you live in California and want to make such a request, send it to us in writing, using the contact details below.

If you are under 18, live in California and have an account registered with the services, you have the right to ask for the removal of unwanted data you post publicly on the services. To ask for such data to be removed, get in touch with us using the contact details below, with the e-mail address linked to your account and a statement that you live in California. We will make sure the data is not shown publicly on the services, but bear in mind that it may not be removed fully and completely from all our systems (backups, for example).
